KITH x SONOS Pop-Up
This conceptual pop-up explores the intersection of fashion and sound through temporary architecture. Designed using two modified shipping containers, the installation creates a progression from compression to immersion — translating brand identity into spatial experience.

Goal
Traditional retail pop-ups often function as short-term marketing activations rather than meaningful brand experiences. In collaborations, brands frequently compete visually, resulting in environments that feel co-branded but disconnected. For KITH and SONOS — two brands rooted in culture, design, and atmosphere — a conventional retail format would reduce the collaboration to product display rather than immersive experience.
solution
The proposed installation reframes the pop-up as a spatial system rather than a retail environment. Using two modified shipping containers, the design creates a sequence of compression and release — transitioning visitors from a curated fashion environment into a focused listening chamber. Through controlled material contrast, acoustic isolation, and restrained visual language, the collaboration becomes experiential rather than transactional. The space positions sound as architecture and fashion as atmosphere, allowing both brands to coexist through structure instead of surface branding.
The Pop-up is designed using two modified shipping containers, positioned to create a sequence of compressed and open moments that mirror the relationship between fashion and sound. One container functions as a transitional space, while the other becomes an immersive listening environment, using sound, material contrast and spatial restraint to shape movement and focus.
